My Best Learning Experience
I studied both neuroscience and religion during college to learn about intersecting perspectives on the human experience. This helped me gain an appreciation for how people can approach questions and problems with very different approaches yet equal effectiveness.
More recent examples of great learning experiences include creating project-based biology labs for middle schoolers on a working farm and learning new industries so I could find leadership talent to drive them forward. The combination of serving others, practical application, and intellectual engagement have contributed to my most meaningful and “sticky,” learning experiences.
